Salt N Pepa — Minimalist Album & Merch

For this project, I challenged myself to create a complete visual identity for a fictional Salt-N-Pepa album using a strictly minimalist and conceptual approach. The goal was to communicate the legendary duo’s identity without ever showing their names or faces — relying instead on clever symbolism. I used salt and pepper shakers as the central motif, paired with bold, graffiti-inspired typography and a high-contrast black-and-white palette with red accents.

The project expanded into a full campaign including an album cover, concert poster for a “Push It Again!” show at Madison Square Garden, and limited-edition apparel.

Tools: Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop

Deliverables: Album cover & vinyl mockup, concert poster, & t-shirt design with “Push It” typography

Concept: Say everything without saying anything — clean, clever, and instantly recognizable.
