Encore Curtains
When two fellow students asked me to design branding for their fictional blackout curtain company, I’ll admit I wasn’t immediately thrilled — curtains? But once I dove in, I had a blast. Encore Curtains offers stylish, easy-to-install blackout curtains that turn any room into a dramatic retreat. I leaned into the theatrical “encore” concept with a playful, elegant identity featuring a stylized stage curtain and crescent moon, creating a whimsical, slightly mysterious vibe that feels luxurious yet approachable.
I developed a full visual system including multiple logo variations, color palette, typography, and extensive mockups (business cards, packaging, employee polos, storefront signage, and tags). The tagline “Come to the dark side…” adds a fun, cheeky wink that perfectly captures the brand’s personality.
